Terms of Service

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of alwaysbecooking.space, all services hosted on alwaysbecooking.space subdomains, our shared account system, and our connected digital and physical services (together, the “Services”).

The Services are operated by ALWAYSBECOOKING LLP. By creating an account, accessing a Service, making a booking, or visiting a space through the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 10 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you may use them only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for the young person’s use of the Services and compliance with these Terms.

Some activities, tools, spaces, events, or transactions may have a higher age requirement or require direct adult supervision. Those specific rules take priority for that activity.

3. Accounts and identity

We use a shared identity across connected alwaysbecooking Services. You may need to sign in with Google and verify a mobile number before using account features. You must provide accurate information, use a mobile number you are authorised to use, and keep access to your Google account and devices secure.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly at wealwaysbecooking@gmail.com if you believe an account has been accessed without permission. You may not impersonate another person, share an account in a misleading way, or attempt to bypass account, role, or phone-verification controls.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or encourage unlawful, dangerous, or fraudulent conduct;
• harass, threaten, exploit, or violate the privacy or rights of another person;
• upload malicious code or interfere with the availability or security of a Service;
• access accounts, systems, or data without permission;
• scrape, overload, or automate access in a way that harms the Services or other users;
• misrepresent your identity, affiliation, booking, or authority; or
• use the Services to distribute spam or deceptive material.

Exploration, research, repair, and experimentation are welcome only when they are lawful, consensual, appropriately supervised, and do not put people, communities, property, or systems at unreasonable risk.

5. Physical spaces and community conduct

When visiting an alwaysbecooking space or participating in an activity, you must respect other people, shared resources, posted instructions, and reasonable directions from the team. Use tools, materials, equipment, plants, networks, and facilities only when you have permission and the skill or supervision required to do so.

You are responsible for disclosing relevant accessibility or safety needs before participating where appropriate. We may stop an activity or ask a person to leave when reasonably necessary for safety, protection of the space, or the wellbeing of the community.

6. Bookings, prices, cancellations, and payments

A booking is confirmed only when the Service or an authorised alwaysbecooking team member confirms it. Availability, duration, price, capacity, inclusions, payment timing, cancellation terms, and any refund conditions shown or communicated for a particular booking form part of these Terms.

If a booking does not display separate cancellation or refund conditions, contact us before cancelling. We may cancel or reschedule an activity for safety, maintenance, insufficient availability, force majeure, or another reasonable operational need. We will communicate the available rescheduling or refund option for any amount already paid.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give ALWAYSBECOOKING LLP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the Services you use. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for protected backups, material already shared with others, or records we must lawfully retain.

You must have the necessary rights and consent to submit content. Do not upload confidential, infringing, harmful, or unlawfully obtained material. Content submitted to a feature clearly marked public, including a public file store, may be accessed and shared by anyone; do not place personal or confidential information there.

8. Our content and intellectual property

The Services, branding, interface, and content created by us are owned by ALWAYSBECOOKING LLP or used with permission. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may use the Services and their content for their intended personal or community purpose, but may not falsely claim our branding or proprietary work as your own.

Some code, documents, datasets, or other materials may carry an open licence. That stated licence governs your use of that material and takes priority over this section where the two differ.

9. Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. The Services also rely on or link to third-party services, including Google Sign-In and SMS verification. Third parties may apply their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for unrelated third-party sites or services merely because we link to them.

10. Suspension, deactivation, and deletion

You may stop using the Services at any time. Eligible users may deactivate their account from their profile, which revokes sessions and disables access but does not immediately delete all records. You may request deletion by contacting us. The retention and one-year inactivity rules in our Privacy Policy explain when account data is deleted or anonymised.

We may restrict, suspend, or deactivate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, an account creates a safety or security risk, continued access could harm another person or the Services, or we are required to do so by law. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.

11. Availability, disclaimers, and liability

The Services are evolving and may change, experience interruptions, or contain errors. We may add, remove, or modify features and may temporarily close a digital or physical Service for maintenance, safety, or operational reasons.

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that every feature, event, experiment, tool, or result will meet your expectations. Physical making, tools, workshops, and experimental activities can involve inherent risks. Follow safety instructions and do not participate beyond your ability or supervision.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, ALWAYSBECOOKING LLP is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Services. We remain responsible where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Governing law, changes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before beginning formal proceedings, you and ALWAYSBECOOKING LLP agree to make a reasonable attempt to resolve a dispute by contacting the other party. Subject to applicable law, courts with jurisdiction in Guwahati, Assam will have jurisdiction over unresolved disputes.

We may update these Terms as the Services change. We will publish the revised version here and update its effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice where reasonably possible. Continuing to use the Services after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
