Build

Building here starts with a need, a question, or something we are curious enough to try. A project might become a garden structure, a neighborhood tool, a game, a sensor, an installation, or a small product. Software, electronics, fabrication, craft, and local materials can all belong in the same project.

The working loop is practical:

  1. Notice a need or question.
  2. Learn enough to make a first version.
  3. Put it to use.
  4. Fix what fails.
  5. Document what changed so someone else can continue.

The aim is to help more people understand, make, adapt, and repair the things around them. Some projects will be useful, some playful, and some will simply teach us what to try next.
